ARRL HB CHP 31 FIG 96
DESCRIPTION: The pc board for the amplifier project provides mounting for the screen and bias power supply components.
ARRL HB CHP 31 FIG 106
Description: There are two pc boards in this project labeled as 106A and B. The A board mounts the screen supply components and the B board mounts the bias components for this 300W 2 meter amplifier
QEX May/Jun99
Description: This is a pc board for a 15w input 300 watt out put Linear amplifier for 6 meter operation. Amp features 13 Db gain, 300 w output on CW, >50% efficiency, IMD3 >25Db below PEP. The design uses thermo sensing in the gate biasing circuit to achieve class AB operation with two ARF448A MOSFETs. The amp requires a 80-90 VDC 6 amp supply. The QEX article is very descriptive of the amplifier.
QEX Nov/Dec99
Description: This is a continuation of articles by William Sabin. There was a power supply in QEX Mar/Apr 99 and a diplexer filter in QEX Jul/Aug 99. The article features a 100 w output HF linear amplifier with 10DBm input drive. The amplifier is a two stage amp using (2) MRF426 for drivers and (2) MRF150MP for the final.
ARRL HB CHP 23
Description: The is the amplifier for the Integrated L-Band Satellite Antenna and amplifier shown in the ARRL Hand book in Chp 23 by Ed Krome K9EK, The circuit uses M57762 module and a 7805 regulator
RF Micro DEVICES
Description: This board with the RF2126 IC is for building the 1W power amplifier with RF Micro Devices RF2126. The device will produce 1.3 w at 12db Gain from 1800 to 2500 Mhz. The device is a linear amplifier requiring supply voltage of 3 to 6.5Vdc. Refer to www.gbonline.com/~multiplx/wireless/pics/RF2126-backwards.jpg for the application note for the RF2126. The board is 1.55"x1.05", G10 of .031" material, double sided without plated through holes.
Dentron Circuit Board Descriptions:A set of three (RF Board, Power Supply Board, and a Tuned Input Board) that are in kind replacements for the original circuit boards in the Dentron GLA-1000 series amplifiers. The Tuned Input Board was designed for the Dentron GLA-1000B amplifier but can be used in any amplifier needing a Tuned Input. In addition this Tuned Input Board is a great way to easily add a Tuned Input to your Dentron GLA-1000 or GLA-1000A. The Tuned Input Board can also be purchased alone. New RF Board: A newly designed RF Board is being offered for all GLA-1000 series amplifiers owners that are converting the amplifier from the original 6LQ6 tubes to the Svetlana EL-509/6KG6 tubes. This board has been designed to use the Svetlana tube sockets made for the EL-509/6KG6 tubes and provisions have been made for the installation of a cathode resistor for each tube. No cutting of the trace or jumpering is needed when this board is used in your conversion. In addition the change in the Cathode Circuit from Pin 3 circuit trace (6LQ6 tubes) to Pin 9 circuit trace (EL-509/6KG6 tubes) has been made for you so you don't have to cut the board's trace and use jumpers.New Power Supply Board: A newly designed Power Supply Board is being offered for Dentron GLA-1000 series amplifiers that has been designed to use Radial Lead type electrolytic capacitors instead of the original "Can Type" electrolytic capacitors. This new board's design has eliminated the need for any jumpers and the extra holes used by the "can type" capacitor have been eliminated. For assembly details go to http://www.k04nr.tripod.com/upgrades_and_modifications_for_d.htm Tunned input (board schematic, ckick here). (amplifier schematic click here)
I bought a GLA1000B off ebay, previous owner sent the Far Circuit Boards and EL509's uninstalled with amp. I studied related web sites and installed the Far Boards and EL509 tubes. Everything works great. Far's Circuit boards look to be high quality with component identification screening on board. I want to personally thank Far for supporting the Ham Radio DIY, "Do-it-Yourself", Ham that wants to built/modify his ham gear, to help keep the cost of the Hobby down.
The Ham Radio Community, I think, greatly appreciates them. I know that I am impressed. I have just placed an order by FAX, Thanks Far KC5WS, Gene Wood
RF MICRO DEVICES
Description: The board is from the RF Micro Devices application note, the device has +30DBm output with 19DB gain on a 2" by 2" board. All the parts are surface mounted.
