MOTOROLA APP NOTE
Description: This is a p c board for a single chip, crystal controlled, AM or FM transmitter in the frequency range of 260 to 470 MHz for the MC13175 and 902 to 928Mhz for the MC 13176. The power output is +10dbm. The MC13175 uses Fo=8 x Fref and the MC13176 uses Fo=32 x Fref.
QST Feb98
Description: This is a simple crystal controlled CW transmitter that will provide 6 watts on 80 and 1 watt on 40 meters with 25 VDC supply using an IRF820 MOSFET device. The harmonic filter is on a separate board.
QRP 40 METER TUNA TIN 2 TRANSMITTER
QRPp, QST Mar 00
Description: The transmitter uses a 7 MHz crystal and two 2N2222 transistors, the board is 3.25" diameter.
Comments: WA6OTP reports building this project and is running 0.25 watts and his first contact was 550 miles
QRPp Winter 97
Comments: Parts available for this project from Embedded Research at http://www.frontiernet.net/~embres/
Description: Check out http://www.knightlites.org/Knightlite/layout_pdf_files.htm for details on the small transmitter, it is all surface mount component construction.
CQ Jun03
Description: This is the circuit done by Embedded Research that also was written up in QRPp Winter97 by K1CL. The circuit features the Embedded Researcher Tic Keyer with a two transistor crystal controlled transmitter and LM386 for audio side tone.
